Full day Lake Titicaca tour is an excellent way to experience two different cultures and traditions. The lake has a form of “Puma”. It straddles the border between Peru and Bolivia.
This tour takes you to two different islands, distinct from each other, the reed islands of Uros and Taquile.
Uros floating islands are one of the most photographed sites on the Peruvian part of Lake Titicaca. Not so far from Puno, this island is made entirely of totora grass.
Here our local guide will introduce you to the life and culture. The head of the family will give you a wonderful presentation about the community of Uros people. In Uros, you can also experience the reed boat tour.
Taquile is a hidden gem. Far away from the mainland Puno, this is the quietest island with a Pre Inca traditions. Men here are popular for weaving. People here still continue to dress in their traditional outfits. This differs from men who are single and married.
We have dedicated guides on this tour. They have excellent knowledge about the culture, traditions and flora and fauna. Our motor boats have all basic facilities on board.
Walk up to the upper deck and immerse in the eternity of the highest navigable lake in the world, Lake Titicaca.

Wondering to thanks our guide Samuel (tour operator Inka Lake) for an excellent tour over the Uros Community and Titicaca Lake in March 2020. Samuel’s ability to give us very detailed answers on all our questions, his familiarity with traditions of the region, its history, geography, ethnography, flora, and fauna let us build a great colorful picture of Titikaka and it’s people. Again, please take BIG THANK YOU from all of us
