Tour Details

One Day Inca Trail to Machu Picchu is one of our signature tours. We have designed this itinerary exclusively for those who want get a glimpse of both, the esteemed Inca Trail and Machu Picchu in a day. This undoubtedly is the best alternative to Classic Inca Trail and Short Inca Trail

A recent study has revealed that Machu Picchu was sort of a pilgrimage destination. The trail was built by Incas for pilgrims to travel from Cusco some 500 years ago.

In modern world, the trail rapidly gained all the deserved attention globally. Infact, National Geography Travel Magazine considers this as one of the best 25 treks in the world. In order to maintain the trail and to avert any eco hazards, the government restricts only 500 people on the trail a day.

This includes porters, guides and cooks which leaves just 200 places a day for trekkers. As a result the permits for the Four Days Inca Trail trek sell out way in advance.

One Day Inca Trail to Machu Picchu is yet not as popular as the four days trail. Hence it can booked in a short notice as well.

On this day trip from Cusco, we will be visiting prominent archaeological sites including Wiñay Wayna and Inti Punku (Sungate) before reaching Machu Picchu from the trail head. Both these archaeological sites are important stops on the Inca Trail trek
